Liverpool Delhi Supporters' Club a.k.a. "Delhi Kop"

The first steps to consolidate LFC supporters in Delhi/NCR region were taken way back in 2007 thru a small community on Orkut - the most popular social networking site of that time. The group organized screenings and one of the most memorable ones in the early formative years was the screening of the epic MUFC 1-4 LFC at the All Sports Bar in early 2009.

Later, with facebook becoming a craze, we thought a page on facebook should suit us better and that was probably the biggest step taken so far in the little history of this group. Less than 7 months down the line, we have 1700+ likes on the facebook page. The pace and the response has been unbelievable. 

Today, LDSC is available on most internet fora and we, at LDSC, are ever so grateful to all those who constitute this community for the brilliant response. In capturing the essence of what this mighty group is about, we are calling our internet presence by the name of - Delhi Kop. It truly captures the feelings of all the supporters - the love for the football club, the love for togetherness (creating a mini Kop during screenings), and the love for the region where we live.
